Boat Rental Terms & Conditions
These terms govern every self-drive boat rental from Grevelingen Predator Boats (operating in Oude-Tonge, Zuid-Holland, Netherlands). By placing a booking you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these terms.

1. Renter Obligations
The renter must be at least 18 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
The renter is the sole responsible operator and must remain on board throughout the rental period.
Use of alcohol, narcotics or any substance impairing judgement is strictly forbidden while operating the boat.
The boat may only be used by the persons declared at booking. Subletting or commercial use is not permitted.
2. Use of the Boat
The renter must follow the safety briefing provided before departure and operate the boat in a careful, seamanlike manner.
Maximum number of persons on board may never be exceeded, including children.
Fishing is permitted on board; the renter is responsible for holding any required Dutch fishing licence (VISpas).
Smoking on board is not allowed.
3. Liability & Damages
The renter is fully liable for any damage to the boat, engine, equipment or third parties caused during the rental period, regardless of fault.
Damages will first be charged to the security deposit; any amount exceeding the deposit will be invoiced separately.
The renter must report any incident, collision, grounding or technical issue immediately by phone.
Loss of equipment (fenders, lines, safety gear, electronics, fishing gear) will be charged at replacement value.
4. Safety Rules
Life jackets are provided and must be worn by children at all times and by adults in poor weather.
Speed must be adapted to conditions and to local speed limits inside ports and protected zones.
Swimming from the boat is at the renter's own risk and is not allowed in shipping channels.
Night sailing is not permitted; the boat must be back at the pontoon before sunset unless agreed in writing.
5. Sailing Area Restrictions
Sailing is permitted exclusively within Grevelingenmeer. Leaving the Grevelingenmeer via locks (e.g. Brouwerssluis, Grevelingensluis) is not permitted.
Restricted nature reserves and bird-protection zones must be respected at all times.
Anchoring is only allowed in designated areas.
6. Emergency Procedures
In case of emergency: stay calm, ensure everyone is wearing a life jacket and call 112 (Dutch emergency services) and then Grevelingen Predator Boats on +31 6 17 47 06 29.
In case of engine failure: drop anchor if safe, contact us by phone or WhatsApp, do not attempt repairs yourself.
In case of severe weather: seek the nearest sheltered bay or port and contact us for instructions.
